Before Buy LN40A650 I did a lot of research before deciding on this Samsung. I wanted 1080p with Auto Motion Plus 120 Hz, and I wanted at least one screen of 40 inches. After spending about 30 or 40 hours comparing this model with comparable models, I Buy LN40A650 Samsung HDTV on Amazon and I was absolutely delighted! The picture was good out of the box, and HD signals from my DirecTV satellite are transformed into clear, sharpest images I have ever seen on television. We can not wait until prices on Blu Ray players to drop so we can start watching all the films in high definition! The sound of the speakers is very good, but you will need speakers and a receiver (or HTIB) to get the best audio experience. For people who have a lot of A / V sources, this TV is equipped with four HDMI inputs, there are ways soon. In fact, I use an HDMI cable from my Yamaha RX-V663BL 665 Watt 7.1-Channel Home Theater Receiver.
The “touch of color” feature was not a factor in my purchase, but it looks great in our living room and matches very well our colors. I was a little ‘TV leery of buying online, Amazon, but this was super good – the delivery was super fast and free. Overall, I believe that this model offers an outstanding value and performance, and I was completely satisfied.
